Who qualifies for the land lease program?
Passive Income at Zero-Cost
If you own land and want to generate passive income for the next 30 years, your property may qualify for our zero-cost solar lease program. Here are the key factors we look for in order to qualify:
Land Size and Type
- Minimum of 25 acres available for lease. Larger properties are preferred.
- Open flat land (if the land is tree covered there's a possibility the company can expense the removal of trees, if the land is suitable for the project).
- Agricultural, grazing, or underutilized land is ideal- no need to disrupt current use entirely.
Accessibility & Infrastructure
- Preferably the property should have road access for installation and maintenance.
- Locations near roads are preferred for easy transport.
Proximity to Electrical Grid
- Your land can be 210 miles away from a power grid.
- The closer the land is to a power grid, the faster and easier the connection for energy distribution. (This isn't necessary however).
Environmental & Zoning Factors
- The land must not be in protected environmental zones or high-risk floodplains.
